My husbands Birthday

I don't know if anyone else has a hubby that hates their birthdays as much as mine. He never let's me celebrate the special day he came into this world.  However, this year his mom, Cheryl, came to visit us. Our first real house guest! And somehow she convinced him to let us take him to the pirate show in Buena Park. It was a fun show. We both enjoyed the trapeze portion of the show. We took Grandpa John with us which is always a treat.

These are a few of my most favorite pictures from the shoot. Of course most of them are of the dogs or JD. But they look amazing. I can't wait to get them printed for the family picture wall. Plus Ian going to print some of them for family Christmas presents. 

 

I find this picture so becoming of my very attractive husband. His little beard is so sexy! I know TMI! But he looks so handsome. 

And this picture just makes my heart smile!

Jd and I helped out a friend and did a photoshoot. More pictures to come. 

We went to Big Bear Lake. It was such a beautiful day! The dogs loved the lake. Pretty sure Kodiak would have swam out if I didn't have him on a leash. Even Cali went out in the water.

Kodiak and Cali

Ever since we moved we have noticed how lonely Cali has been so Jd and I decided to get a puppy. Jd searched the Internet for breeds that would be a perfect match for Cali and at the same time not be a big dog. He found a breed called Shiba Inu. They only get to around 20-25lbs and have a thick double layer of fur and are known to take down bears with their pack. So we set out to find them in our area. That's when I was told to take over the search and I found a breeder named Alma who lives in Corona. Our sweet Kodiak was born late January 19th and we were able to go see him February 2nd. We fell head over heels for him. Such an adorable and love able personality and even he is winning our dear Cali's heart. She is still skeptical of him but as he gets bigger so they can play then I know they will be the perfect match.

CRUISE: Mexican Riveria

Last May JD and I went on a cruise to the Mexican Riv. It was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. Laying out by the pool, getting a massage with my mother-in-law, swimming with dolphins, walking around in cities that were exotic and different from anywhere else I have been. I can't wait until we embark on another cruise. Summer 2013!

Polar Bears

Ever since school at BYU-I I have loved a childrens book called Two Polar Bears. And with the love of that picture book I became obsessed with polar bears.

This morning on the news they shared the story about an orphaned polar bear from Alaska that is now in the Kentucky Zoo. I begged JD to take me there this summer...lets keep our fingers crossed.

Happenings of the last two weeks

We went to dinner with Jerry and Stacie. Afterwards, Jerry put two junior mints on either side of a tooth pick then pretended to be "lifting weights"...best thing ever!

Jd also got his stitches out. It had a little infection but other than a cool scar it had healed nicely.
